7 day Tsavo East and Diani Beach expedition is a wonderful and rewarding safari experience that takes you to Kenya’s impressive safari destinations: Tsavo East National Park and Diani Beach. This 7 day trip offers you both the bush and beach experience with 6 nights. This Kenya safari starts in Nairobi and then ends in Mombasa with endless safari memories.
Day 1: Transfer from Diani to Tsavo East National Park.
On the first day of the safari, you will wake up early in the morning for breakfast. At exactly 06:00 hours, you will be picked up by your safari driver, who will brief you about the safari and then start your journey to Tsavo East National Park. From Nairobi to Tsavo East National Park, it is a drive of approximately 4 to 5 hours, which means you will arrive in the park in the early afternoon; you will check in and have lunch, and when you reach the park, you will go for an afternoon game drive.
On the game drive, you will see many animals such as lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards and many more. You will also visit the Aruba Dam in the park, which is always crowded with many animals. After the game drive, you will go back to the lodge for dinner, relaxation and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Game drive and transfer to Diani Beach.
Wake up early for morning breakfast, check out from your lodge, and go for the dawn game-viewing drive, offering you a first-hand wildlife safari experience. You will catch the African sunrise in its natural splendour as you look out for the game.
During the morning game drive, you will spot predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs, among other animals. After the game drive, you will exit the park and begin your journey back to Diani; you will have an en route lunch and proceed with your journey to your hotel in Diani or to any convenient place.

Days 3 and 4: Beach life relaxation and acclimatisation.
After breakfast, days 3 and 4 will be spent at Diani; this is one of the most beautiful places on the Kenyan coast, and you need to appreciate it. This day will be utilised to get used to life at the beach. Take a lazy walk on the beach, interact with the locals, take a camel ride, enjoy swimming at your lodge, and enjoy drinking cocktails.
You will take time to appreciate Diani the whole two days as you enjoy the meals prepared by some of the most experienced chefs Africa has to offer. Dinner and overnight stay at your respective beach hotel as above.
Day 5: Excursion to Kisite Mpunguti Marine and Wasini Island.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Shimon, south of Diani, where you will be registered and allowed to take a boat excursion to Kisite Mpunguti and Wasini Island. This is a wonderful safari moment that will offer you the chance to see the dolphins, see fish species, coral reefs and more. While at this marine park, you are free to jump out of the boat for swimming, snorkelling or relaxing in the middle of the ocean.
After exploring the Marine National Park, you will take your boat to Wasini Island, where you will have a variety of dishes served and have a chance to test the seafood and fish, as well as local juice. After lunch, you will transfer by boat to Shimoni and then get back to your beach resort hotel for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay as above.
Day 6: Relaxation and walks on a white sand beach.
After breakfast, you will be free to relax on the beach, that is, take a walk on this awesome beach that stretches 17 kms as you observe tides and the blue ocean with friendly people. This is one of the most wonderful experiences you should not miss. The walk on this beautiful Diani beach is so relaxing and rewarding.
Later return to the hotel for lunch. After lunch, you will relax and then swim in the pool or the ocean. There are a couple of other surprise optional activities that can be arranged for you to make sure you enjoy your stay. Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel as above.
Day 7: Departure.
After breakfast, check out from your lodge, and then your driver will transfer you to Moi International Airport for your flight out to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to catch a flight back home that will bring your 7 day Tsavo East and Diani Beach expedition to an end.
