3 Days Ol Pejeta Safari : Having a Kenya safari for 3 days is a big time wildlife safari that will enthrall you as it takes you to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a place renowned by wildlife sanctuary located in Laikipia, Kenya. The last two remaining northern white rhinos in the world, black rhino is present at Ol Pejeta with the largest black rhino population in East Africa. The conservancy also hosts the Big Five (lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, and leopards), chimpanzees, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, and various bird species. This safari dishes thrilling game drives, visits to the Sweetwaters chimp sanctuary and the nature of the conservancy landscapes.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Ol Pejeta Conservancy.
You will be picked up in Nairobi by our driver guide who will brief you on the safari according to your location in Nairobi. You begin your journey taking approximately 4 to 5 hours to reach Ol Pejeta Conservancy. While on the way, you will enjoy scenic views of Mount Kenya and the scenic surroundings. You’ll make your way to the lodge on arrival and have lunch.
During the afternoon, you will go on a game drive where you will come across rhinos, elephants, lions, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, leopards and many more. Ol Pejeta is one of the most conducive places to see rhinos in the flesh, which means that it is the perfect spot for conservation focused travelers. You proceed on a game drive after which you return to the lodge where you will have dinner and spend an overnight.
Day 2: Full day game drive and visit to Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary
The morning kicks off with an early breakfast and you will head off for a full day game drive in the conservancy. As for wildlife viewing, rated Ol Pejeta’s wildlife viewing opportunities, you will have a chance to see the Big Five, cheetahs, wild dogs, early kinds, antelopes and many more in the savannah.
In the afternoon, you will enjoy the Sweetwaters chimpanzee sanctuary; the only place in Kenya where you can see rescued chimpanzees. Also, the sanctuary is a safe haven for orphaned and abused chimpanzees from across Africa. Their efforts to conserve their population will be described and you’ll watch as the chimpanzees go about their daily activities.
The visit will last for some time after which, you will go on a short game drive before returning to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Morning game drive and transfer back to Nairobi
Last day of the 3 days Ol Pejeta, you will have an early morning game drive targeting the predators like lions and leopards before they retire to their hiding spots. In fact, you will also get to see the herbivores grazing on the grass in the morning.
Throughout the game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast, check out and continue your journey back to Nairobi. The driver will take you where you will have a stopover to have lunch before arriving in Nairobi in the afternoon and your guide driver will drop you off at your preferred location for checking in or at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight.
