Detailed Itinerary 

Day 1: Pickup and transfer to the Tsavo East National Park 

You will be picked by our driver guide depending on your location in Nairobi or Mombasa and he will brief you on your Kenya Safari. You will begin the drive to Tsavo East National Park which will take 5 to 6 hours from Nairobi and 3 to 4 hours from Mombasa. There will be scenic views of the countryside along the way and if you have the time, a stopover for refreshments will be made before reaching the park.

You will check into the lodge after arrival and have lunch. You will take to an exciting game drive in the afternoon where you get to see things like elephants, buffaloes, zebras, antelopes and big cats such as lion and leopard. There, you will also visit the famous Aruba Dam, a popular waterhole that is frequented by all kinds of animals. And then after the game drive you will head back to the lodge and dinner and sleep over there.

Day 2: Full day game drive in Tsavo East National Park 

You will head out for a full day game drive in Tsavo East National Park after an early breakfast. The park is known for its breathtaking landscapes, with the Yatta Plateau being one of the world’s longest lava flows. But you will have a good possibility to see more wildlife including; hippos, crocodiles, ostriches, gazelles and elephants covered with red dust in herds.

You also undertake picnic lunch during a game drive at a scenic place within the park where you would enjoy the view of wildlife. After lunch, you shall go about with the game drive in more places of the park. Overnight, you will return to the lodge in the late afternoon for relaxation, dinner and sleeping.

Day 3: Morning game drive and transfer back to Nairobi or Mombasa 

In the morning on the last day of your Tsavo East 3 days wildlife safari you will have an early morning game drive to see predators such as lions, leopards and hyenas before they retire to their hiding places. In addition, you will also get a chance to observe elephants, buffaloes and other herbivores from the beginning of their day.

Breakfast will follow, after you check out and depart for Nairobi or Mombasa. At some point along the way there is a stopover for a lunch before taking you to your final drop off location.
