3 Days Chyulu Hills Safari : This 3 day Kenya safari is an adventure that takes you to Chyulu Hills National Park, which is a scenic and less visited park. Chyulu Hills is well known for majestic landscapes of rolling green hills, lava flows and a host of wildlife including elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, leopards and many birds. While on this safari, you will do game drives, guided nature walks, horse riding and have a spectacular view of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Chyulu Hills National Park
Depending on where in Nairobi you are located, our driver guide who will brief you about the safari will pick you up from there. After you will begin the process of Chyulu Hills National Park that will take an interval of 4 to 5 hours. Scenic views of the countryside, local homesteads, vast landscapes will aid in making your way along the way.
You will check into the lodge and have lunch upon arrival. You will embark on a game drive in the afternoon, where you will get to see elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, various species of antelopes, and many more wildlife tags. You will also get to see the rolling green hills and volcanic landscapes. After the game drive, dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 2: Full day exploration of Chyulu Hills National Park
You will meet up with your guide after breakfast and take on a full day exploration of Chyulu Hills National Park. A game drive will be conducted in search of wildlife including; leopards, cheetahs, wildebeests, elands and bird species like; white headed buffalo weaver, martial eagle, Hartlaub’s turaco among others.
You will also see the famous Shetani Lava Flows, a very cool volcanic feature that describes the past of the area’s volcanic activity. The lava fields give a very beautiful yet stark contrast with the green hills as they boast a unique landscape.
You will have a picnic lunch while taking in the breathtaking scenery in the park while on the Kenya safari. After lunch, you will have the opportunity to take a guided nature walk led by a local ranger, where you will learn about the flora and fauna of the park from close by the rolling hills. You will return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay in the evening.
Day 3: Morning game drive and transfer back to Nairobi
On the last of your 3 days Chyulu Hills safari, this is when you will rise early in the morning for a morning game drive hoping to catch predators like leopards and hyenas before retiring into their hideouts. Giraffes and zebras in the open plains are also something that is bound to appear early risers.
After the game drive, you will then have breakfast, check out and head back to Nairobi. On your way, you will have a stopover for lunch and then you will be dropped off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or to your preferred location in Nairobi, for departure flight.
